Gum resin from FERULA FOETIDA, (Bunge) Regel. Antispas modic, carminative, nervine. Used in hysterial conditions, as a soothing remedy for infants, for relief of constipation and t ympanites and as a stimulant expectorant. Dose, 0.2 to 1 Grm. (3 to 15 grs.).1
