GELSEMIUM (Yellow Jasmine)
The rhizome and roots of GELSEMIUM SEMPERVIRENS, (L.) Ait. Sedativc, antipyretic, anodyne, antispasmodic. Useful in asthenic fevers, in ncuralgias, particularly trifacial and ovarian, and in dysmenorrhem Active principles the alkaloids, gelsemine and gelst-mininc, especially the latter.1
