   The bark of PISCIDIA PISCIPULA, ( L.) Sarg. Anodyne, hypnotic, diaphoretic, sialagogue, arterial sedative. Prescribed for relief of neuralgic pain, especially ovarian, and for its hypnotic effect. Applied locally as a remedy for toothache.1
