MOUNTAIN LAURELKALA
   The leaves of KALMIA LATIFOLIA, Lin. A sedative poison. In small doses antipyretic, alterative, anti-syphilitic, cardiac sedative, astringent. Prescribed in febrile conditions, in chronic diarrhea and as a general alterative.1
