POTASSIUM AND SODIUM TARTRATE (Rochelle Salt)
   An agreeable and eflicient saline laxative, also refrigerant and in dilute solutions diuretic and antilithic. Used most commonly in the form of Seidlitz powders. Dose as refrigei-ant, 1 to 4 Grm. (15 to 60 grs.); as antilithic, 4 to 8 Grm. (60 to 120 grs.); as laxative, 15 Grm. (half an ounce) or more.1
