Physician's Materia Medica on Sulphonal (sulfonal)

SULPHONAL (Sulfonal)
   Chemical name, Diethyl-sulphon-dimethyl-methane. Sedative, hypnotic. Hypnotic dose, 1.3 to 2.5 Grm. (20 to 40 grs.) which should be taken early in the evening and preferably dissolved in a cupful of hot water.1
