   The rhizome of ERYNGIUM AQUATICUM, Lin. Aromatic. sialagogue. diaphoretic, nauseant. expectorant, diuretic. Used especial ly to relieve vesical and urethral irritation, dysuria and spasmodic urethral stricture. also to control nocturnal emissions.1
