YERBA SANTA (Eriodyctlon)ERIOD
   The leaves of ERIODYCTION CALIFORNICUM. (Hook. & Arn.) Greene. Tonic, balsamic, epectorant. It has the remarkable property of completely masking the bitterness of quinine. Its chlef use is with reference to this property, although it is sometimes prescribed in bronchial affections.1
