Physician's Materia Medica on Sulphur Iodide

SULPHUR IODIDE
   Alterative, antiseptic. Used internally in scrofula and chronic skin diseases, externally in ointments (5 to 10%) in eczema, psoriasis. etc. Dose, 0.002 to 0.03 Grm. (1-30 to 1/2 gr.).1

ACNE
   Ascertain whether constitutional disease or disordered dhrestion is present and modify treatment... / ...o. Locally, lotions containing milk of sulphur and glycerin, sometimes with a base of distilled extract witch hazel, or ointments containing sulphur. sulphur iodide, resor cin, ichthyol or Iodosyl. Give attention to the diet, which should be simple but nourishing. fats especially to be avoided.1
