   Lupulin. The glandular powder separated from the strobiles of Humulus Lupulus, LinnĂ© (Nat. Ord. Cannabaceae), the common Hop. (See... / ...e latter. It relieves irritation of the bladder, with frequent urination, and is quite efficient in chordee. When delirium tremens is accompanied by cerebral hyperemia it is of considerable service. I... / ...thus proving useful in yeasty indigestion with acid eructations and dilation of the stomach, and in the headache due to such gastric disturbance.1

   Internally, potassium bromide and chloral; lupulin; a combina tion of camphor, henbane and opium; suppositories of belladonna. Locally, application of hot water; belladonna ointment over corpus spongiosum.2
