GLUCOSUM
Glucose, Liquid Glucose, Syrupy Glucose. A syrupy liquid, composed chiefly of dextrose (dextro-glucose) and dextrin. It is obtained by the incomplete hydrolysis of starch. Description.An odorless or nearly odorless, sweet, syrupy liquid, of a little or no color. It is sparingly dissolved by alcohol, but water dissolves it freely, the aqueous solution being neutral or slightly acid to litmus paper.
